Born in La Plata, Argentina. He began studying sax at the age of 10 years old at the Gilardo Gilardi’s Conservatory, with Professor Luis Galfetti, and he played in several orchestras. He is a Film Director (FUC), Stage Opera Director (Teatro Colón), and he has already worked on more than 80 film and opera productions. He obtained a grant of Ibermedia, to attend the Actors Direction Seminar taught by the EICTV in Tenerife. He made his opera debut with “Le nozze di Figaro” by Mozart in June 2012 for the Opera Joven Company in Buenos Aires. His graduation thesis at ISATC was the premiere in Argentina of Scott Joplin’s opera “Treemonisha” for OID OPERA at the Empire Theatre. A disciple of Ponchi Morpurgo, he worked as an assistant in her latest productions and as an Adjunct Professor of Set Design in the Universidad del Cine. He was organizer of the Primer Encuentro de Ragtime in Argentina in the Centro Cultural Recoleta, he was a presenter of the Greek cinema cycles programmed by Ser Griegos, and along with Professor Jorge Troisi Melean, he performed several opera cycles for the Ortega y Gasset Fundation. In 2018 he participated at the «International Tact Festival» in Italy with Grupo Subsuelo, and he made an European tour through Slovenia, Germany, Ireland and Spain. He wrote more than 500 art reviews, published in several national and international books, magazines and newspapers. In 2019 he reached the semi-finals of the International Competition NANO-OPERA, organized by the Helikon Theater in Moscow, becoming one of the world’s Top Ten young opera stage directors. His film OUT OF MIND, about the pandemic, was screened at over 30 international film festivals and received awards such as Best Experimental Film, Best Music, Best Script, the Special Jury Prize for Best Actor at the European Film Festival, and two Honorable Mentions at the Bloomington Indiana Film Festival and at the Festival del Cinema di Cefalù. In 2023 he made his debut as a director in Europe with “As Damas Trocadas” by Marcos Portugal at the Teatro Vila Real for Palacio de Mateus. His recent film, Landscapes for Freedom, was selected and distinguished by the Libertinagem Project organized by Ala d’Artistas in Mira de Aire. He is currently teaching, writing and preparing new projects.
